Job Description: |
Need 4 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Coon Rapids and Andover, MN. From: 04/20/2024 to 11/15/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Fri. 8 hrs./day, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Work hours are determined by crop and weather conditions. The workday may begin/end earlier or later on any given day and evening, night hours may be required. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, depending on crop conditions and need. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half.

JOB DUTIES: Prepare soil and cultivate sod grass lawns, haul and spread topsoil, and fertilize the fields. Seed with either seeders pulled by agricultural equipment like farm tractors or by hand; spray and weed the sod grass lawns. Cut/mow the established grass with pull-behind rotary mowers as well as self-driven power mowers. Maintain farm equipment, buildings and properties, load sod onto trailers and drive truck to deliver to customers and installation sites. Workers who have a clean driving record and insurable driver's license may be required to drive company vehicles. Workers will have a 30-minute meal break.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: No experience required, employer will train; clean driving record; employment reference; must be able to lift 50 lbs.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
