DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setting up and operating various production equipment including rolling, annealing, grinding, welding, slitting, flattening, leveling, packaging, and other miscellaneous equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Operate a wide range of production equipment including rolling, annealing, grinding, welding, slitting, flattening, leveling, and packaging machinery.
* Adjust operating parameters to meet product specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production equipment.
* Acquire necessary certifications to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* Conduct quality checks using various measuring tools to ensure products meet internal and customer standards; submit samples for QC approval.
* Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
* Provide training to other operators as required.
* Conduct safety checks and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
* Fulfill other assigned duties as necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Required to work in a production area. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The production area is not climate controlled.
