Job Summary:
The Product Engineer drives product design, development and plant support to effectively and efficiently launch products, as well as grow technical capabilities.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Understand internal and external customer design requirements
Create Design
Communicate Design
Validate Design
Launch Product
Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process
Capture lessons learned
Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables
Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets
Communicate effectively both internally and externally
Apply structured problem-solving methods for issue resolution
Manage Program Risk
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineer, or equivalent degree in a technical field (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Science, Industrial & Operations, etc)
0-4 years ofexperience in automotive interiors
