Garden Center Associate - Seasonal FT and PT
Iowa Outdoor Products is looking for energetic and motivated people to help in our Garden Center this upcoming season. If you enjoy working outdoors in a fun and ever changing environment, this job is for you!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Product sales including, plant material, hard-scape material, bulk landscaping material and plant and garden accessories
- General plant maintenance including watering, pruning, weeding
- Product merchandising including creative displays, pricing, and inventory
- Effectively communicate with customers to ensure their satisfaction
- Occasional annual and perennial installation
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks and customer/crew vehicles using Bobcat.
Qualifications:
- Valid DL preferred, must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Must have weekend availability
- Ability to life 50+ lbs, sometimes repeatedly and work outdoors in varying degrees of weather
- General plant knowledge and landscaping experience is preferred, but not required
- Experience operating equipment such as Bobcat
