JOB FUNCTION: Assist with the planning, organization, implementation
and delivering of a birth to five program based on the individual and group
educational, social and emotional potential of the children enrolled.
Assist in managing and creating the classroom environment, provide input and
observation concerning program participants.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist in the implementation of daily activities that stimulate learning
in all development areas (physical, social, emotional, and
intellectual) for 10 to 12 infants and toddlers, or 15 to 20 preschool
children, which may involve children with special needs.
1. Assist in the organization and maintenance of classroom materials and
equipment.
3. Assist in teaching team as needed with family involvement activities,
meetings and home visits.
4. Participate in the preparation and set up of curriculum, lesson
plans, and daily classroom operations.
6. Assist with screenings, including ESI, DECA, Developmental
Checklist, ASQ, and Ounce, etc.
7. Attend meetings and trainings.
