Requisition Summary
We are looking for a customer focused and results orientedHuman Resources and Training Directorto join our corporate Human Resources department as part of our global human resources team which supports 32,000 employees.
TheHuman Resources and Training Directoris both a strategic and hands-on position. The Director will provide executive leadership for our global executive leadership development programs, PACCAR University, corporate training, corporate communications and learning development team.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Corporate Training and Development
Identify training needs that are aligned with current and future business objectives, create and execute training roadmap, evaluate program effectiveness, and manage training budget.
Lead content and configuration of the global Learning Management System including expansion to global PACCAR business units.
Lead the development and execution of the PACCAR University and various functional Colleges throughout PACCAR including:
PACCAR Leadership Development Program (PLDP)
Emerging Leaders Roundtable (ELR)
PACCAR Institute for Managerial Leadership (PIML)
Executive Leadership Program (ELP)
Stanford Executive Program
Human Resources College
Lead PACCAR-wide communication programs including the PACCAR World magazine and external employment branding on PACCAR's careers site.
Oversee the implementation of annual training plans and programs for PACCAR employees working at Northwest U.S. facilities, including delivery.
Oversee the innovation/training center at the corporate office.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or relevant field is required.
Master's degree preferred.
Qualifications
Eight plus years in Human Resources, training, communications, eLearning Instructional Design, and or related experience.
Experience implementing and managing corporate Learning Management Systems (LMS) as a system administrator.
Prior experience leading, coaching and mentoring direct reports.
Ability to understand business goals and recommend training content to achieve and continuously improve business and people objectives.
Proficient with eLearning content development tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate 360 and advanced level MS office skills.
Ability to lead projects, influence and obtain buy-in from the business, and drive results.
Specific examples of process improvement initiatives supported and implemented by business units.
Excellent organizational skills and professional interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and adaptability.
Demonstrated results in an environment with changing priorities.

This position is also eligible for annual incentive bonus compensation with a target of 30% of base pay.
