Position Summary
Responsible for the overall daily operations of the Metro Colorado Asphalt
Production facilities. This position requires a thorough understanding of the
asphalt manufacturing process, plant repairs and maintenance. They will
foster a high-quality experience for our customers, while balancing a
sustainable cost of operations. This role has a strong emphasis on customer
service, scheduling, labor and equipment utilization, and overall
leadership of asphalt manufacturing operation. This person will successfully
work as a part of the leadership team which includes Safety, Operations,
Sales, HR, and Shop Managers, as well as others as needed to sustain
being the supplier of choice to our customers and driving for financial
perform
Key Responsibilities
Manage the asphalt plant teams driving a culture that fosters safety,
employee engagement, ownership, and collaboration in accordance with
company policies by hiring, training, motivating, planning, and
directing work, managing performance, and resolving issues so that
assigned performance targets are met or exceeded
Actively and effectively communicate with Sales, Project Management,
Operations, HR, Shops, and Safety departments to stimulate an
