I. Position Objective

RINO Equipment & Rental is opening its first location in the heart of Indianapolis and seeking out an individual that has experience being a technician while also having the desire to grow this a new organization. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. The incumbent will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment and machinery. You will work closely with our customers, ensuring that their equipment functions optimally to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

II. Essential Position Duties

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on various types of equipment, including but not limited to compact construction equipment.
• Routine maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and optimal performance of equipment- Collaborate with customers to understand and resolve technical issues, providing clear and effective communication throughout the service process.
• Order necessary parts and materials for repairs and maintenance tasks, while maintaining accurate records of inventory and expenses.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during repair and maintenance activities.
• Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and product knowledge to provide outstanding service and technical support.
• Assist in training customers and operators on proper equipment operation and maintenance practices.
• Delivery and pickup of equipment to/from customers.
