  • Experience with security and ML driven systems.
  • Experience with biometrics.
  • Experience with consumer electronics development.
  • Experience with interaction design and software development on mobile operating systems.

In this role, you will develop and set the strategy for evolving how technologies and corresponding user experiences work across modern, mobile computing devices. You will collaborate with teams across hardware, software, UX, Security, and more.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Deliver biometric experiences (e.g., face, fingerprint, and future technologies) as part of Pixel device launch.
  • Drive user insight generation and product prioritization through analysis of user feedback across trusted testers and in-market users.
  • Collaborate with Security and Platform partners to define evolving requirements for biometric systems on Pixel to meet user needs and emergent tech capabilities.
  • Define roadmap and develop product experiences that leverage progression of advanced contextual understanding and biometric recognition to improve data security and user interactions.
