Posting Summary
Responsible for leadership and strategic management for the Larner College of Medicine Office of Professional Development and Engagement in direct alignment with and support to the Senior Associate Dean of Research in the Larner College of Medicine. Use independent judgment to facilitate & prioritize work, and resolve problems; designs short, mid and long term plans for organizational processes. Develop, evaluate and implement functional data tools, systems, and reports for metrics of success and communications in support of the Office objectives.
Provide direct support to faculty, staff and students for navigating research infrastructure. Liaise with the University community, and external agencies for support of professional advancement and development.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of related experience required. Experience with faculty & student development; demonstrated project management skills; experience in a dynamic setting with familiarity with faculty affairs concepts and practices, including service, marketing, communication and database systems. Familiarity with university structures and processes; facilitation skills for meetings and workshops; knowledge of and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion practices and professionalism.
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $55,000 to $68,000/year

Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position

Union Position Yes, UVMSU ($20 minimum hourly rate)
