Job Description

 
Quality Mechanical Inspector - <LI> Responsibility and ownership of all customer quality requirements to ensure a complete understanding of their quality needs and issues, and ensure their expectations are met consistently. <LI> Precision mechanical inspection on first articles, first pieces, in process and final inspection. <LI> Interprets drawings and standards with an understanding of geometric tolerances. <LI> Ensure all suppliers meet the necessary quality assurance and certification requirements as defined by company purchase orders. <LI> Assist with internal and external quality audits as required <LI> Work closely with the management team in resolving production quality issues and ensure quality procedures are accurate and updated as appropriate <LI> Ensure all monitoring and measuring equipment are operating properly and are calibrated, if required <LI> Support manufacturing initiatives as required <LI> Reports nonconforming materials and products <LI> Support customer relations activities as related to quality and reliability aimed at achieving total customer confidence and satisfaction <LI> Promote and sustain a CFM-wide culture of continuous improvement
