love of Burke and those you work with)! The Role What You\'ll Do! Truck
Loading: -Loading: Load Truckload and Less-Than-Truckload trailers with
a wide range of different size/shape skids/crates of our packaged
product (including some larger loose-shipped items by hand). -Heavy
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material
handling equipment to move items on to trucks safely and efficiently.
-Organization: Load items in the truck in an efficient manner to
maximize space utilization and ease of unloading, and to minimize damage
potential during transit. -Inventory Management: Keep track of
skids/crates being loaded and checking against shipping bill of ladings
to ensure accuracy. -Communication: Communicate with the logistics team
and warehouse personnel to coordinate the loading schedule. CDL Driver:
-Help to load and unload box van and 53\' enclosed trailers with
forklifts or with the use of other equipment, and some parts by hand as
needed -Using forklifts, unload completed pallets taken to Burke campus
and locate in specific outdoor locations in preparation for shipment to
the customer -Ensure parts and products are properly secured in the
trucks and trailers to prevent damage to products and prevent injury
-Verify loads for accuracy -Communicate clearly with Shipping Team Lead
and other team members as needed to understand delivery/transport needs
-Perform OSHA required inspections of truck and trailer(s) daily and
maintain detailed driving and delivery logs -Notify managers of any
major maintenance or delivery issues encountered Teamwork We have an

Qualifications That Move Us! -High school diploma or general education
degree (GED) preferred; or related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience -Valid commercial
driver\'s license (Class A CDL) required -Two or more years of proven
experience in commercial truck driving preferred -Clean driving record
with no moving violations -Must pass a background check and drug test
-Alert, focused and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. -Able to operate
