We are looking for:


Environmental Manager is responsible for overseeing the environmental performance of both the Spartanburg SC and Winder GA plants. They provide professional guidance and technical leadership in the area of environmental.

We count on you for:

  • Lead and manage environmental operations for the Spartanburg SC and Winder GA plants to support federal, state, and local regulations, including Clean Air Act, RCRA, NPDES, and SARA III.
  • Assure compliance, develop, implement and monitor environmental strategies, policies and programs that promote safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Implement sustainable initiatives with plant leadership to ensure compliance with environmental legislation across the organization.
  • Examine and drive improvements while managing risks.
  • Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy
  • Audit, analyze and report environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies
  • Carry out impact assessments to identify, assess and reduce an organization's environmental risks and financial costs;
  • Promoting and raising awareness, at all levels of an organization, of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility
  • Managing of the environmental management system
  • Manage environmental initiatives with senior management
  • Train staff at all levels in environmental issues and responsibilities
  • Write written reports, assuming the lead responsibility within the company
  • Support and lead corporate environmental responsibility issues and actions at the plant level

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science/ Environmental Policy/Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • 7-10 years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial setting with hazardous materials or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations for air, water and solid wastes
  • Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and EPA regulations
  • Effective negotiation and organized approach to work
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and be able to motivate staff at all levels

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $119,200 to $149,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
