Job Description

Our client is known for offering services with a focus on outstanding quality, value added engineering and successful project outcomes. These services include engineering only and engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) services for high voltage powerlines and substations. As a Project Controls Analyst, you'll be supporting their clients Wildfire Safety Inspection Program (T-line) and will be responsible for partnering with the Project Managers as they manage all phases of the projects, managing and monitoring project timelines, ensuring on time and scope completion, keeping track of budgets, facilitating meetings and coordinating with different teams. You'll be responsible for supporting operations and leadership in schedule development using Primavera P6 and will also be responsible for cost plan development and analysis. The successful candidate should be comfortable working on multiple projects at once and have a successful background supporting project management teams.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelors Degree in engineering, management, business or finance

* 2+ years of PCA experience

* strong excel skills

* Familiarity in utility industry

* Familiarity with scheduling tools, such as P6

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Working experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio etc.)

* detailed oriented and capacity to learn new software (learning attitude

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* PG&E Experience

* familiarity with SAP

* Cost analysis and financials experience
