TheVirtual Branch Advisoris responsible for responding to member needs quickly and efficiently with high quality service and advice. Communication methods are primarily phone, digital channels, chat, email, fax, and secured messaging.Responsibilities include member follow-up, online account opening, loan origination, loan processing, and booking loans to the core. The virtual branch advisor will provide member service through research, problem solving, and making appropriate recommendations.The Virtual Branch Advisor should always strive to exceed the expectations of the members.Must comply with all SAFE Act registration procedures.
*Employees are expected to demonstrate and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC, CIP, and internal policies and procedures.
DutiesandResponsibilities(EssentialFunctions):
Virtual Branch Support
oResponsibility for opening and onboarding new accounts/loans that come in digitally
oResponsible for processing all consumerand home equity loan applications that come in digitally and working actively with Consumer Lending to find solutions that are appropriate for members
oEnsure appropriate communication and follow-up is provided to members
oWill onboard members who utilize digital channels by reaching out via phone, emails, and texts
oInvolved with testing of new digital processes or systems
oUtilize red flag and fraud identification in digital applications
oLooks for improvements and enhancements for the members digital experience and communicate ideas to Virtual Branch Assistant Manager
Virtual Branch Operations
oReview member information, application and credit bureau for other sales opportunities and advise members on products and services that will meet their needs
oMaintain product knowledge and expertise on Purdue Federal products and services
oCross-sell other products and services that the Credit Union offers and refer/direct member to utilize online banking, bill pay, eStatements, and direct deposits
oVisa increase processing - take and process information for lending decision, follow through with member to ensure request is processed
oEnsure compliance with all Federal and State regulations
oEnsure compliance with all Purdue Federal compliance and procedures

Required Skills
Knowledge,Skill, and AbilityRequirements:
Education
oHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Experience
oMinimum 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, sales and/or banking required
oPrior experience with lending and opening accounts preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
oStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
oCompetent computer skills
oAbility to work under pressure and constant interruptions
oAbility to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees and members
