What You Can Expect
The Director of Pre-Construction is a critical role within ENGIE's
Engineering and Delivery (E&D) team, focusing on the contracting of
grid-scale renewables projects, including Onshore Wind, Solar, and
Battery Energy Storage Solution (BESS).
ENGIE seeks a highly experienced and motivated Director with passion for
renewable energy to join the E&D division of the team. The Director of
Pre-Construction will report to the Head of Strategic Supply and Optimization
whilst also working closely with multiple parts of the overall E&D division
and wider ENGIE business.
The position will have primary focus on both the preparation and management of
contract bidding, and associated pre-construction phase activities, while
also directing Contract negotiations and making recommendation to the ENGIE
Leadership team for contract awards. Following successful placement of
contracts, the Director of Preconstruction will take accountability for the
handover and effective legacy support to the Director of Delivery ensuring
ultimately the delivery of safe, timely, cost effective and class leading
renewable energy projects.
Successful execution of this position requires clear and consistent
coordination of multiple project stakeholders including developers,
contractors, vendors, owners, and financing partners. The Director of
