FT: RN Weekend Supervisor, Dunkirk. Weekend RN Supervisor STARTING RATE: $36.00/hr. ($36.00 - $38.00/hr depending on experience.) SIGN-ON BONUS: up to $7,500 SHIFT: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday BENEFITS: Weekly Paychecks Tuition Assistance Referral Bonuses Flexible Schedules Weekend Warrior Positions Peer Mentorship Generous Paid Time Off JOB DESCRIPTION: A Registered Nurse Supervisor works closely with RNs to ensure the best possible functions of assigned units and supervise unit employees. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department Scheduling and assigning nursing staff as needed for the department Responsible for maintaining the standards of nursing care and practices within the facility to meet the needs of our residents and their families Support nursing staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed at all times while also making suggestions for improvements Provides information to Residents and health care team Maintains documentation of Resident care services Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on the assignment setting REQUIREMENTS: Degree from an accredited school of nursing Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required Minimum of 1-year RN experience required Must have strong assessment skills as well as interpersonal skills Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable Strong customer service skills and compassion APPLY ONLINE OR SEND YOUR RESUME TO: Chautauqua Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Attn: Brianna Perez, Recruiter 10836 Temple Road Dunkirk, NY 14048 TEXT: 716-401-8134 for more information ABOUT US: VestraCare is a portfolio of five health care facilities in New York state, including: Brookhaven Health Care Facility in East Patchogue; Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk; Roscoe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Roscoe; Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville; and Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Johnson City.
