JOB REQUIREMENTS: Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an entry-level attorney
to join the Taxation Practice Group in our Milwaukee office. Qualified
candidates must have a demonstrated interest in the area of taxation and
a desire to work on transactional matters, including the tax aspects of
mergers and acquisitions, structuring and negotiation of transactions,
and tax-related planning. While a background in taxation is strongly
preferred, it is not required. We are looking for a well-rounded,
dynamic, team-oriented, and highly motivated entry-level attorney to
support the strategic goals of our Business Law Department and Taxation
Practice Group. The ideal candidate will possess top academic
credentials along with strong writing, drafting, organizational, and
interpersonal skills. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and
improve, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our
clients are essential qualities for this role. To be considered,
candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and meet one
of the following qualifications: Enrollment in a Tax LL.M. program at an
ABA-approved law school, An accounting degree, Successful completion of
the certified public accountant exam, or Another demonstrated background
in taxation, Candidates must either be in good standing and an active
member of the Wisconsin Bar or gain timely admission as a condition of
