JUNIOR RECRUITER

DESCRIPTION:

The Jr. Recruiter will collaborate with the Manager of Satellite Administration on a regular basis to proactively identify future hiring needs. The Jr. Recruiter should be able to attract candidates using various sources such as social medical networks, applicant tracking system and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with working experience in screening, interviewing and assessing candidates. The Jr. Recruiter’s responsibility is to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees in a fast paced environment, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

 

RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Conduct 25-30 phone screens per week
  • Conduct in-person interviews and/or phone screens using various reliable recruiting tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assist HR in the onboarding process for new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Provide weekly well documented recruiting reports to the staff resources team and hiring managers
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Conduct reference checks on candidates

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of recruiting experience preferred
  • Proven work experience as a recruiter (either in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR databases (Applicant Tracking System or Candidate Management Systems)
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management/Communications/Psychology/Business preferred
