JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintenance Electrical Technician 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM -
10:30 PM (Rotating Weekend Coverage) 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
(Rotating Weekend Coverage) Training will take place on 1st Shift (6:30
AM - 2:30 PM) The Maintenance Electrical Technician is responsible for
maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing electrical and electronic
systems, machinery, and controls within a manufacturing environment.
They will support all production and physical plant equipment in the
facility. Responsibilities: Perform all duties in a safe and
collaborative manner, reporting any potentially dangerous conditions or
safety concerns to the supervisor immediately Start up and shut down
equipment following operation requirements, company safety procedures,
and OSHA regulations Utilize thorough knowledge of electrical theory,
statutory codes, and principles of operation to perform tasks Plan work
procedures, identify replacement needs, and develop logical approaches
to correct problems. Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings to
install, repair, calibrate, service, and replace electronic devices and
systems Dismantle, inspect, and replace electrical machinery, as well as
defective electrical or mechanical parts Lay out, assemble, install,
test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, and
wiring Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits,
equipment, and motors using appropriate tools and testing instruments
Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers, and
programmable logic controls Examine work orders and communicate with
equipment operators to detect equipment problems Perform scheduled
preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing
equipment to detect and prevent problems Maintain equipment logs
recording performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests
