Reports to: Social Development Director

Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and maintain group living conditions, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for students
Assist students in adjusting to center life and developing social skills essential for employment
Coordinate dormitory activities and schedules, fostering student engagement and career preparation
Train and mentor residential staff, providing guidance and support for student success
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate holistic student development and growth
Promote a positive and respectful climate on center, free from harassment and intimidation
Education and Experience Requirements:
Prefer Associate of Arts degree
One year of experience in dormitory management or related field working with at-risk youth
Preferably, experience with Job Corps and supervisory roles
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of counseling techniques and ability to effectively communicate with disadvantaged youth
Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with education and vocational training programs, as well as local social service resources
Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students
Working Conditions:This position involves various physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and driving. Environmental demands include exposure to moderate noise levels and fluctuating temperatures.
