Job Description

 
We have two processing plants that clean, sort and package all of the eggs our hens lay. We have multiple positions open on our packing lines. We are a growing company and there is always room for advancement and growth! As an Egg Packer you will be responsible for maintaining and packing your line of eggs as well as correctly labeling the boxes they are packaged in. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be alert. There may be some instances where Managers may ask for additional tasks to be performed outside of the normal job responsibilities. Responsibilities and Duties -Pack eggs in a timely manner -Handle product with care -Check code dates and traceability information -Implement good housekeeping of your surrounding work area -Communicate food safety or quality concerns -Visually inspect product for damage or defect Qualifications and Skills -Capable of standing for up to 8 hours a shift or more -Capable of lifting 20lbs. throughout the shift -Standing, bending, twisting, reaching and hand / finger dexterity required -Awareness of surroundings -Alertness
