Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.
  • Valid Texas Journeyman [or higher] Plumber License
  • Valid Backflow license or be able to obtain one in 180 days.
  • Plumbing experience & knowledge of plumbing codes and laws
  • Experience working independently and troubleshooting and correcting plumbing challenges, including emergency response
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master Plumber license
  • Previous employment experience as a plumber (or equivalent) in government and/or higher education environment
  • Ability to effectively utilize blue prints and schematics
  • Proficiency managing work orders using a portable electronic tablet/device
  • Use of AiM and SAP
Job Description
Responsible for providing emergency response to maintenance oriented calls or plumbing emergencies.
Job Duties
Work performed includes performing all plumbing work assignments, including PMs, related to sinks, commodes, urinals, lavatories, showers, bathtubs, floor drains, water lines, and sewers. or maintaining assorted plumbing, sewer and related fixtures in good operating condition.
Supervise/ train and delegate specific job duties to personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
