Machine Operator, 2nd and 3rd shifts Hazen Paper Company ? Holyoke, Massachusetts

Hazen Paper was founded in 1925 and is based in Holyoke, MA with a satellite facility in Housatonic, MA. Hazen Paper is a world-class paper convertor specializing in custom holographic originations, film, foil, and paper laminations, specialty and gravure coatings, and rotary embossing. We are currently seeking individuals with 3+ years of experience in our Holyoke location. Must have experience running Laminating, Printing, Sheeting, Rewinding or Metalizing equipment. Must be able to perform duties with a minimum of supervision. Machine Operators Applicant should have mechanical aptitude and the desire to move up into the role of Machine Operator. Applicant, at a minimum, must have a high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities Operate equipment safely. Set-up and operate machine according to procedures, supervision and written production order. Monitor quality of goods produced. Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity. Keep machine and machine area organized and clean. Maintain good production records and outturn samples.
