Sabel Systems Technology Solutions, LLC is a leading solution provider and rapidly growing Information and Communications Technology Company specializing in innovative and agile Digital Engineering and Acquisition Technical Stack design, implementation, and support, Strategy and Policy Development, Financial Management, Software Solutions Development, Requirements Analysis and Training, to name a few. Our client base is mostly in the DoD Federal Government Contracting space and we also partner with prime Government Contractors such as Siemens, Booze Allen, McKinsey and have work in the commercial space as well. Who We Need
The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is a mandatory employee position responsible for managing, administering, and coordinating activities for all DoD (Department of Defense) classified contracts to ensure compliance with government or company policies and procedures on behalf of Sabel Systems
The FSO will initiate, review, and process all personnel security clearances and maintain all required documentation, files, clearance and suitability rosters in accordance with government requirements.
The FSO will have a detailed understanding and experience of 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and general security requirements for the DoD and the DoE and other federal agencies. The FSO will be appointed as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) for the organization and other government appointments, as required, in support of the FCL.
What You'll Do
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
Administer personnel security clearance processes to include coordinating initial clearance submissions and periodic reinvestigations of staff, providing guidance and instruction to staff to ensure completion of security paperwork, collection of ink or electronic fingerprinting of initial clearance candidates, and providing follow-up clearance report status on processed clearances to managers for specific contracts.
Maintain all security documentation and files in accordance with DCSA requirements.
Maintain FCL documentation and submission in accordance with DCSA requirements.
Provide Federal Agency or component personnel suitability processing support and coordination.
Provide and document new employee security briefings, exit interviews and debriefing, investigate and report security violations and incidents.
Manage all aspects of a classified document control program, maintain classified holdings and prepare classified transmittals in accordance with NISPOM guidelines and requirements.
Manage and develop annual refresher training to include preparing necessary documentation in support of DCSA audits.
Provide security support to Human Resources, Contracts, and Proposal teams.
Advise personnel of their reporting requirements, both personal/administrative and compliance/incident-related reports.
Interpret government policies for the development and implementation of security plans and procedures.
Maintain a working relationship with DCSA or other Federal Agencies and each contract's security office for processing and maintaining employee clearances or suitability determinations.
Create and update industrial security plans, procedures, and instructions.
Participate in the development and delivery of security education programs.
Supervise daily security activities and enforce government and company security policies.
Perform access control responsibilities including managing badges, access cards and visit requests, as required.
Perform other duties as required by the Senior Director, Global Security.

Candidate must be in Dayton or willing to drive daily to our office, if needed.
