Proven experience in assembling and configuring desktop PCs and servers.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Description:
Are you a meticulous and skilled technician with a passion for assembling and supporting desktop PCs and servers? We're on the lookout for a dedicated Desktop PC and Server Assembly and Support Technician to join our dynamic team in the IT department. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless assembly, configuration, and maintenance of desktop PCs and servers, all aimed at achieving optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities:

Desktop PC Assembly: Assemble desktop PCs according to client specifications, ensuring compatibility and reliability of components.

Server Assembly: Configure and assemble server hardware, including CPUs, memory, storage drives, and networking components, based on client requirements and industry best practices.

Operating System Installation: Install and configure operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) on desktop PCs and servers, ensuring proper drivers and software are installed for optimal functionality.

Software Installation and Configuration: Install and configure software applications and utilities as required by clients, ensuring compatibility and proper integration with hardware components.

System Testing: Conduct thorough testing of assembled systems to ensure stability, performance, and compatibility with client requirements.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, component specifications, and assembly procedures for reference and quality assurance purposes.

Client Support: Provide technical support to clients regarding hardware and software issues, troubleshooting problems, and recommending solutions to optimize system performance. The support could be done over the phone, via TeamViewer, Fresh Desk ticketing or onsite is some cases.

System Upgrades and Maintenance: Perform hardware upgrades and system maintenance tasks as needed to ensure continued reliability and performance of desktop PCs and servers.

Quality Assurance: Adhere to industry standards and best practices for hardware assembly, installation, and support to maintain high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Normal Hours are: M-F 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
