The Department of Facilities Management supports the mission of the University

environment for the campus community through services of the departments of
Capital Projects and Planning, Facilities Management, Parking & Mobility
Services, Auxiliaries & Real Estate, and Business & Operations.
Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Director of Operations &
Maintenance, this position plans, organizes and supervises the HVAC team
to ensure proper, safe, and reliable work operations within established
budgetary and appropriate time schedules.
Essential Functions
In addition to following the University of Denver's policies and
procedures, principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Plans, organizes, and supervises the shop's work through developing
schedules, work assignments, inspections, ordering equipment and
supplies, and providing emergency response. Manages a staff of workers,
including evaluating, counseling, taking disciplinary actions, and
making recommendations on hiring or dismissals.
