The purpose of this job is to oversee inventory operations, including stock requisition and distribution, inventory control, and purchasing.
Essential Functions:
- Supports internal staff with materials and tasks.
- Purchases hardware, software, and related equipment.
- Serves as primary point of contact for equipment orders and external vendors.
- Manages stock to verify accuracy.
- Performs accurate physical inventory audits and spot checks.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience(An equivalent combination of education, training & experience will be considered):
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- to 3 years experience in storeroom operations, purchasing, inventory control, or related field.
Licenses or Certifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of:
- Standard software, parts, materials, equipment, and supplies used in Information Technology.
- General office practices and administrative procedures, records management, and administration techniques and procedures.
- Basic arithmetic and computational operations.
Skill in:
- Typing and/or data entry with minimal errors.
- Estimating time and materials needed to complete jobs.
- Communicating verbally and in writing to meet the needs of the audience.
- Organizing and managing time effectively.
Ability to:
- Follow oral and written instructions.
- Learn and comply with purchasing rules and procedures.
- Calculate accurate inventory levels.
- Recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
- Regularly use a computer, software, phone, and related office equipment.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Provide high levels of effective customer service.
