Well-established, highly successful, and rapidly growing Midwest-based home remodeling leader seeks a dynamic, hard-working, high-integrity, Corporate Recruiter.

THIS IS AN ON-SITE RECRUITING ROLE AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE IN COLUMBUS, OHIO.

Position Overview
The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for recruiting for our growing business and will play the lead role in our sales and corporate recruiting efforts for our corporate office, as well as our branch offices. The Corporate Recruiter will have a major role in sourcing and screening for our hiring needs, as well as collaborating with managers in the organization to meet hiring goals. They will assist in creating and publishing job ads, interviewing candidates, managing ATS functions and processes, providing accurate reporting on recruiting activities, and maintaining and improving our employer brand, ensuring we attract and hire people who contribute to our company's growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborates with department managers to Identify immediate needs, draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria to build a pool of candidates.
  • Creates job ads and posts job openings on career pages, job boards, and social networks (LinkedIN, Indeed, ZipRecruiter).
  • Screen, Filter and schedule pre-screen interviews with qualified candidates that align with our Core Values and Culture.
  • Conducts Pre-Screen Interviews and serves as first point of contact with the candidate throughout the hiring process.
  • Schedules and manages the Interview process from start to finish, per candidate and hiring managers availability.
  • Uses the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage job postings and the candidate’s process.
  • Mines resume databases and other sources for passive candidates to keep pipeline full.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, Including utilizing online job boards, social media, professional networks and Innovation approaches.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Supporting Inititaives to create marketing collateral as it relates to recruiting, brand awareness, and relationship building.
  • Provides reporting as requested and adheres to the department’s key KPI's.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned by the Director.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR and recruiting required.
  • Background in recruiting or sales, a plus
  • Ability to relate to, and communicate with, a wide array of individuals at various levels throughout the organization.
  • The ability to protect confidential Information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly tech-savvy and organized.
  • Self-starter with a growth-mindset
  • Professional in appearance, communication, and actions.
  • Enthusiasm for people and their success.
  • Familiarity and expertise with Applicant Tracking Software, such as JazzHR or Paylocity.
  • Insatiable drive and a strong aptitude for creating and maintaining the best recruiting approaches for the organization.
  • Proven track record of recruiting to company needs and maintaining bench depth.
  • Experience with a wide variety of recruiting tactics and approaches.
  • Proficient in administering and interpreting pre-hire assessments and testing instruments.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Self-motivated with grit, high energy, and the ability to be 100% focused and dedicated to seeing employees, and the organization, succeed.
