Base Pay: $20-$24 an hour, based on experience.

    As the Manufacturing Technician, you will effectively operate tire mold manufacturing equipment and other related industrial equipment with accurate precision while gaining hands-on experience producing high quality products in one of Goodyear's tire mold manufacturing plants. In this role, the technician will be responsible for installing sipes and vents into molds while ensuring quality work. The ideal candidate would be able to abide by standard work procedures and job safety requirements to meet quality expectations for all output produced. The manufacturing technician role may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending and working at heights to complete daily tasks.   • Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.

    Shift Information: 12-hour Day shifts, Monday-Friday (No weekends)

  • Typical work schedule: Week 1 - 3 days on, 4 days off. Week 2 - 4 days on, 3 days off. Repeat

    Work Environment: Tall Timbers Mold Operations Plant located in Findlay, OH

  • The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment.

  • The environment is climate-controlled and conditions may be noisy.

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing and steel-toed shoes.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma/GED

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to understand defined technical processes and read technical drawings

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future

  • Must be to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies

  • Basic computer skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with using Air hand tools

  • Working towards an Associate Degree or Certification in the Welding or Maintenance industry or previous experience operating CNC machining equipment and CAM Programing

  • Previous manufacturing and/or industrial experience in metal working or CNC machining

  • Experience using precision measurement devices such as calipers and micrometers

  • Basic Welding experience
