Job Description
Ability to interact effectively with public officials, community organizations, and the general public. Additional Notes: Residency Requirement: Must be a resident of Albany County at the time of hire, be willing to conditionally accept employment pending the possible approval of a residency waiver from the Albany County Legislature, or agree to move into Albany County within six months of hire. Candidates who do not meet all education or experience requirements may receive a conditional appointment for up to two (2) years, with potential one-year renewals, subject to progress in an approved public health education or experience plan. A background check, including employment verification, credit history, and criminal background review, may be required.
