Job Description

The System Monitoring Specialist II is responsible for the monitoring and reporting of enterprise systems or company peripherals that show matters of significance and require senior administrator or a system owner to investigate. The Specialist is expected to utilize training, experience or internal systems knowledge to perform monitoring and reporting tasks with limited supervision. The Systems Monitoring Specialist II must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures; will be expected to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, and must be creative in the use of technology.

Qualifications


Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
2+ years of systems experience, preferably in multi-site organization
Working knowledge of Active Directory/Group Policy
Familiarity with virtualization, cloud, and SAN technologies
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to problem solve with a keen attention to detail
