General Maintenance Technician
Location: Southeast Michigan
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Preferred 5yrs. experience and relative educational training for maintaining a manufacturing facility and machine maintenance consistent with the responsibilities listed above.
- Computer Skills: Advanced
- Certificates and Licenses: Minimum OSHA 10 Certification. Licensed to operate a Forklift and a Manlift (vertical and articulating).
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Pay Rate: $28-$32/hr. based on exp. With full Benefits
Position Type: Full time direct “perm”, 100% onsite
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position is responsible for oversight of Shelbey Township, Michigan facilities. This includes plumbing, electrical, lighting, furniture, and general maintenance items.
SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Schedules and maintains necessary building inspections to keep buildings compliant with city codes.
- Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
- Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting/repair/installation.
- Perform PLC programming/troubleshooting.
- Perform robot programming/troubleshooting.
- Develop and perform preventative maintenance procedures and maintain appropriate history logs for all equipment.
- Understand, implement, and use lock-out tag-out (LOTO) procedures for all relative equipment.
