Honeywell Sr. Learning Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina

The Honeywell Employee Development team is looking for a Sr. Learning Specialist to support global learning and development programs. We are looking for an experienced HR and learning professional who will be responsible for program management, instructional design and facilitation of our global learning and development programs. The Senior Learning Specialist will be responsible key stakeholder and program management in this hands-on learning role. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle incoming requests applying outcome-focused learning theory.

  • Oversee the management operating system for global learning programs to ensure alignment to learning GDM standards.

  • Oversee content reviews with course owners and subject matter experts; manage production process for new web courses and course updates.

  • Program manage scheduling and course close-outs processes for instructor-live programs.

  • Program manage marketing-communications, metrics aggregation and program-all dashboards.

  • Support basic Instructional Design using PowerPoint or Articulate Rise and Facilitation as required-needed.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5+ years of both learning/ development and HR (combination) experience at large, global corporation

  • 5+ years of professional work experience

    WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience

  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)

  • Experience with virtual classroom training platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

  • Highly proficiency at creating advanced excel spreadsheets and dashboards

  • Highly proficiency in Microsoft Suite: PowerPoint; WORD, Teams. 

  • Persuasive analytical and communication skills (spoken, written).

  • Ability to build strong relationships with peers, partners, business leaders, executives.

  • Ability to work in ambiguity and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Individuals who are initiative-taking and able to work independently
