Molding Technician

Are you looking for an opportunity to work in a fun, fast-paced, inspiring, and collaborative environment where you make a difference in Hartford County CT? Use your molding technician skills to perform basic and advanced equipment and process set-up, changeovers, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and basic repair and rebuild. Equipment includes Injection Molding Machines and associated ancillary equipment.
What You Will Do:- Perform cycle checks, adjust business plan, and prioritize workload according to business needs.
- Assured compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Perform machine/mold safety checks; perform mold changeovers.
- Process material changeovers - fill barrels, mix materials and ensure traceability.
- Typically, requires travel less than 5% of the time.
What You Need:
- Understanding of computers and computerized controls
- Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience. Previous experience with plastic injection molding equipment is desirable
- High School Diploma or GED required. Technical school background desirable
- Recurring physical demands include standing, walking, stooping, crouching, climbing, and bilateral motion involving hands, wrists, and upper body
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
