Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote.
Job Description:
This position is responsible for ongoing development, maintenance, and support of existing systems and platforms. This position provides thought leadership and champions software architecture, software engineering best practices, innovative solutioning and Agile and Dev Ops best practices.
This work is tied to Foundational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring technology solutions are designed to meet resiliency, stability, non-functional, functional, and operational readiness use cases.
Responsible for ongoing development, maintenance, and support for UI focused work as it relates to the rebranding initiatives.
Provide thought leadership and champion software engineering best practices, innovative solutioning and Agile and Dev Ops best practices.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
8 years of extensive technical experience in variety of application development or package software implementations
Proven experience with multiple development and support methodologies. Ability to manage work direction and lead, influence, mentor, and provide feedback to others within team.
Technical Requirements:
Java
AWS-Should know how to write Lambda functions in Java
SQL
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $
