Required Skills:
Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North and South Dakota.
Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
Valid Driver’s License, preferably Class A.
Acceptable motor vehicle record.
Previous heavy equipment operating experience.
Strong mechanical skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities

As a Base Crew Supervisor the purpose is to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in placing base material. Schedules crew according to project requirements. Completes and maintains company records and logs related to projects and employees.

Responsibilities:
Calculates number of trucks required to maximize efficient and productive completion of project.
Resolves employee issues, maintain morale, coaches and disciplines employees.
Observes work site to ascertain progress in meeting production schedule.
Provides training and orientation for new employees.
Conducts pre-project and on-going job site inspections to identify and resolve safety, hazard or health concerns and employee compliance with safety guidelines.
Conducts toolbox talk safety meetings.
Investigates and reports accidents and injuries according to Company policy.
Communicates with Project Manager, County, State or Local Govt. Agency inspectors
Complies with Company Safety Program.
Performs other tasks as needed.
