The Rock Valley Community School District is located in Northwest Iowa. Rock Valley is one of the fastest growing rural communities in Iowa with a population of approximately 4,000. District enrollment is 950, having grown by 25 students per year for more than a decade. The entire district, with the exception of preschool, is located in one building.

The district is a progressive school district with approximately 30% of the student body being hispanic. All students in grades K-12 are provided their own computing device by the district. The teachers work collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of students.

The community of Rock Valley is thriving. The city is a leader in metal manufacturing for the state of Iowa. Downtown Rock Valley is thriving in a time when many are declining. Health care is available in Rock Valley, with a strong hospital system. Recreational opportunities include a community pool, campgrounds, parks, golfing, biking/walking trails and fishing ponds.
