What You'll Do
The Responsible AI Risk Assessment and Measurement Lead/Senior Manager plays a critical role leading safety testing and red teaming efforts in conjunction with our AI and Generative AI product teams, to ensure alignment with our Responsible AI policy, principles, and standards, and to support the design, continuous improvement, and execution of the overall Responsible AI program at BCG.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Working in a fast-paced environment where you engage with a myriad of AI/GenAI product teams working across client, industry, and geographic contexts to identify and mitigate safety risks associated with AI/GenAI systems, using your experience with and passion for AI/GenAI risk assessment and measurement to look for ways we can continually improve our AI/GenAI products, while coordinating with stakeholders across BCG and contributing to thought leadership. The Responsible AI Risk Assessment and Measurement Lead/Manager works with a diverse set of stakeholders to:
Execute RAI Risk Assessment and Measurement operations onAI/GenAI systemsin development and productionusing real-world adversarial techniques to identify failures
Develop tools and techniques to scale and accelerateRisk Assessment and Measurement across BCG
Collaborate with case teams to influence measurement and mitigations of vulnerabilities in AI/GenAI systemsthrough manual efforts and scalable, quantitative approaches
Research new and emerging threats to informAI/GenAI Risk Assessment and Measurement efficacy and accuracy, and to stay relevant
Mentor staff in techniques, approaches, and best practices AI/GenAI Risk Assessment and Measurement
Manage small teams of technical and non-technical staff executing Risk Assessment and Measurement operations on AI/GenAI systems
Develop and deliver trainings in AI/GenAI Risk Assessment and Measurement
Create playbooks to capture processes, approaches, and best practices for AI/GenAI Risk Assessment and Measurement
Remain up to date on emerging frameworks, standards, technical approaches, and related issues by participating in workshops, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
Identify and develop partnership opportunities with key players in the Responsible AI/GenAI Risk Assessment and Measurement domain
What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
5-12+ years of experience in a technical environment, including data science, engineering, or technical program/product management
3+ years of experience in machine learning and/or AI/GenAI environments, preferably testing and red-teaming discovery and prevention or related fields
Understanding of detecting threats related to unsafe content in AI/GenAI models or systems
Demonstrable knowledge of Responsible AI policy, governance, trends, frameworks, and best practices, particularly with respect to GenAI systems
Demonstrable experience building and implementing tools, playbooks, and policies with cross-functional teams
Expert experience coordinating activities and managing stakeholders in large, complex environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Stellar problem-solving and risk identification/mitigation skills in business contexts
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging, product-oriented environment where we advance our thinking about and operationalization of Responsible AI Risk Assessment and Measurement. You will engage with a diverse set of stakeholders, including senior BCG leadership, case teams developing products for clients, internal product developers, product managers, legal, compliance, and security teams, BCG X's Chief AI Ethics Officer, the Director of the Responsible AI team, and other members of the Responsible AI team.

First-year minimum base compensation for the Lead role is $155,000. First-year minimum base compensation for the Senior Manager role is$169,000.
In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus and BCG's Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution. BCG also provides a market leading benefits package described below.
