Description Position at Lifespark Providence Place, a Lifespark Skilled Nursing Community, is looking for dedicated and passionate HR Assistantto join our growing team.
Providence Placeis conveniently located on the bus route, located in southern Minneapolis in the Standish Ericcson neighborhood. Here we provide services for our seniors in a TCU (Transitional Care Unit) Care, Long-Term Care and Memory Care. We have been helping seniorsAge Magnificentlyfor over 25 years and are part of Senior Care Communities, a local non-profit supporting senior.
Location:3720 23rd Avenue South, Minneapolis MN 55407 Shifts available: Full-Time Monday-Friday

In this position you will be responsible for various administrative and human resource functions in the facility.Duties include:
Responsible for completing new hire paperwork with all newly hired employees.
Assist with scheduling, preparing for, and conducting new employee general orientation and onboarding in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Assist with facility attendance management.
Responsible for maintaining personnel files in accordance with facility policy.
Responsible for employee data input into payroll (including deductions), timeclock, and benefit systems. Requires ongoing monitoring and adjustments as needed.
Responsible for reconciling hours worked with payroll and time clock data.
Responsible for submitting bi-weekly payroll after Executive approval received.
Responsible for distributing pay checks and pay stubs.
Responsible for the daily monitoring of the time clock system, making adjustments and accrual entries, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in human resources or a related field or equivalent experience
Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
Must possess proficient computer skills, including email use, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other related software programs related to job duties.
