Position Summary | The Life Sciences Technology Transfer Associate will play a pivotal role in fostering innovation and commercialization of research developments in the life sciences domain through a collaborative partnership among the Atlanta University Center (AUC), including Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM), Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, and Morehouse College. This role will provide critical support to faculty, researchers, staff, and students at the AUC in facilitating the transfer of cutting-edge scientific discoveries to practical applications, including intellectual property (patents, copyrights, trademarks, and know-how) application filings, licensing, partnerships, and the creation of spin-off companies. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology transfer, entrepreneurship, and the integration of academic research with the broader biomedical and life sciences industries. The Associate will work closely with academic leaders, industry professionals, and stakeholders to bridge the gap between research and commercialization, contributing to the mission of both institutions to advance health equity and scientific discovery. Immunization
Immunization Requirements | It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination. |
