Job Description

Purpose of the Job

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for effectively executing warehouse duties for HH Global's facility located in Blue Ash, OH. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, unloading trucks, verifying counts, quarantining receipts subject to count, utilizing WMS technology to confirm receipts and move product and materials into storage racks. Further collaboration with all company staff to meet the needs and expectations of the clients of HH Global.

This position will be based at 10900 Kenwood Road Cincinnati, OH 45242, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Use WMS technology to receive, verify counts and transfer material using barcodes and barcode scanners.
Inspect inbound containers following process instructions.
Report any quality or inventory discrepancies to the Supervisor.
Follow system generated move, putaway and line replenishment functions.
Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor.
Be dependable and flexible with work schedule/overtime as required.
Use FedEx or UPS technology to create shipping labels for orders.
Work with client freight forwarders to schedule freight pickups.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform housekeeping duties as assigned by the department Supervisor.

Qualifications, Skillset + Experience

1+ years of working experience in a warehouse or a production environment. Warehouse experience utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate a standard sit-down forklift.
Ability to lift items by hand up to 60 lbs.
Solid working knowledge and understanding of shipping and receiving functions.
Basic math skills with the ability to efficiently and effectively count receipts.
Ability to interact with systems and technology with accuracy and data integrity.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to organize work, plan and meet schedules and deadlines.
Ability to perform under pressure and manage stress.
Reliable and punctual.
Versatile; willing to perform job related functions and assignments.
Capable of creating and working with Excel files.
Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods.
Visual, hearing and learning capabilities sufficient to perform all functions defined above.

Work is generally performed during standard business hours, 7 AM thorough 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Employee must be flexible and available to work overtime and weekend hours when necessary. Work is performed in a light manufacturing and warehouse setting. Work involves frequent exposure to warm and humid temperatures in a non-temperature-controlled facility. Work involves occasional exposure to noise, dust, moisture and non-toxic chemicals.
