JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position - Mechanical Assembler Location - Waukesha WI
Shift - 1st Shift Schedule - Monday through Friday Hours - 6:00am to
2:30pm Rate Of Pay - \$18.00 to \$25.00/hr. JOB DESCRIPTION Receives,
reviews and prepares the kit of machine parts for assembly; reviews and
builds manuals that include drawings and bill-of-materials; reviews
instructions for assembly; arranges parts and materials for the machine
to correspond to sales order specifications. Receives shop orders for
jobs and steps of assembly; uses computerized Enterprise Resource
Planning System (ERPS) and job orders for labor tracking. Inspects and
prepares parts, this may involve removing small quantities of metal to
reduce sharp edges and or to produce a close fit between parts. Uses
powered industrial trucks or cranes for moving large components or
pallets of machine parts. Drills, taps, or reams holes and performs
other secondary machining operations in metal or plastic pieces using
hand tools. Aligns components and attaches with bolts, screws or various
hardware. Install moving parts, such as gears, shafts, levers, or
bearings, and verify correct operation of components. Bend and install
pipe for pneumatic systems. Align and mesh gears in gearbox to assemble
system of gears. Use a wide variety of precision measuring and gauging
devices. Test or assist in testing operation of completed product.
