salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Attendance required from Friday to Monday with at least 10-12 hours needed on Saturday and Sunday.
Safely and correctly run production equipment, including but not limited to Colloid mills, homogenizers, grease kettles, piston pumps and more.
Read the batch ticket and follow instructions to make grease and blend oils. Working with oils and powders.
Perform basic math. Calculate percentages to weigh (from pounds to ounces, kilograms, grams).
Drive forklift - will pay for certification.
Advise purchasing of inventory needs.
Document the work completed on the batch ticket.
Ensure that all materials are correctly labeled through entire process & traceable to all raw materials.
Maintain clean work environment.
Maintains a positive attitude and work like a team player.
This position requires the person to be clean-shaven and not have any facial hair. This requirement is due to the fact that employee will need to be fit tested for respirator as part of the PPE program.
Weekend Shift
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
