REQ ID JR100227 Apply View Saved JobsThis senior-level paralegal position supports TV Legal’s attorneys in compiling/reviewing/discussing/filing client deliverables for television series and movies-of-the-week; uploading certain deliverables to digital data storage platforms on behalf of division clients; drafting and distributing episodic writer and episodic director agreements; drafting, compiling and processing court petitions; maintaining/updating digital databases.
Responsibilities:
Compiling/reviewing/monitoring network and streamer deliverables for television series and for movies-of-the-week
Uploading deliverables to digital databases
Drafting and distributing episodic agreements
Drafting, compiling and processing court petitions
Maintaining and updating the department’s digital database
Requirements:
5-7 years of law firm or law department experience working in entertainment industry on entertainment-related contracts (compiling/reviewing/monitoring television series and movies-of-the week deliverables; drafting and distributing episodic writer or director agreements; drafting, filing and processing court petitions; maintaining/updating legal database)
Proficiency with digital databases (uploading documents to internal and external digital databases, maintaining and updating the iManage database)
AA or AS degree
Paralegal certificate preferred
Mid-level or higher proficiency and experience using Box.com, Portal+, Excel and iManage preferred
The anticipated base salary for this position is $86,000-$110,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
