Partner Engineer, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, data science and engineering or other related field and/or equivalent practical experience.
  • Candidates will typically have 6 years of experience with Data and AI/ML workloads, transaction processing, data warehousing, analytics and with data migration strategies and moving production systems either in on-premise/data center environments or migration to cloud scenarios.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, data science and engineering, or other related technical field.
  • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive customer-facing pre-sales or professional consulting experience in the fields of data and information lifecycle management translating customer business needs into cloud centric solutions.
  • Experience in working with Partners and (technical) development of Partner Ecosystem.

In this role, you will work as a technical lead to grow and support the Google Cloud partner ecosystem. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by assessing our partners’ technical expertise, connecting the customer with the right partner, and supporting partners as they execute practical and useful solutions. You will help prospective partners understand Google Cloud capabilities, and align with the product marketing and engineering teams to recommend improvements to Google Cloud products. You will help our partners realize the unique value through the proposition of Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform and help them build solutions and point-of-views. You will work in a team-environment, cross-functionally, and cross-regionally with the Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop new ways to drive Google Cloud growth. You are based in the Netherlands and work as a part of the Benelux Partner Engineering Team.

Responsibilities

  • Enable Partner technical teams skills, capabilities, and capacity through prototyping and demonstrating product integrations and work with Partner Managers to identify and recruit partners in the market and monitor partner delivery capabilities.
  • Empower partners to drive a successful pilot, proof of concept or production workloads, create partner technical development plans, aligned to annual planning and drive technical wins of  partners and alignment of partners to customer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop solution documentation, joint technical articles, webinars, etc. and build solution focused technical assets for internal/external partners.
  • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
  • Collaborate closely with the Google Customer Engineering team to ensure best possible fit between partner capabilities and customer needs to drive value creation and business outcomes for businesses and organizations through Google Cloud.
