JOB TYPE: Part-time (20-29 hours/week)
PAY RATE: Minimum $13.12/hour; depends on experience

POSITION PURPOSE
To provide specialized maintenance of Library grounds and perform special projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Regularly maintain all Library green space areas and outbuildings (i.e. cleaning, repairing)
- Assist with mowing, shoveling snow, mulching, and landscaping
- Coordinate all aspects of garden area (i.e. plot rentals, soil reclamation projects, etc.)
- Make reports and recommendations related to buildings and grounds
- Drive Library vehicles for pick-ups and deliveries as needed
- Assist in maintenance of the buildings, (i.e. cleaning, repairing)
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge of gardening, maintaining native plants, and yard work
- Maintain a valid Indiana Drivers License
