About the Job
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Research Study Support (100%)
- Support participant recruitment efforts by attending and presenting at stroke support groups; building collaborations with clinicians; visiting hospitals, PT/OT clinics, community centers; attending relevant stroke survivor events
- Phone screening of potential participants, scheduling lab visits, coordinating participant MRI scans, working with health systems to access relevant patient medical records, assist with data collection and processing
- Process participant payments
- Data entry and management
- Manage lab resources
- Manage participant recruitment on social media and other participant finder platforms
Position is 20 hours per week.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience to equal four (4) years.
- Ability to be independent, organized, collegial.
- Experience in conducting human subjects research.
- Skills to follow protocols and be able to anticipate and recognize potential problems.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a health science research lab
