Communication construction ground hand
Overview
Ground hands work daily with a small team to construct, deconstruct, and repair fiber-optic cable systems in a variety of commercial and residential terrain/weather.
Requirements
* Reliable hard-working individual capable of working alone and alongside a team
* Valid state driver's license
* CDL preferred, but not required
* Work in a variety of terrain and weather conditions
* Carry up to 80lbs.
General daily work
* Assist Lineman with completing each span of fiber-optic cable utilizing a variety of techniques and procedures.
* Place safety cones and signage (IAC) with state, county, local and company guidelines
* Set and place ground rods, down-guy anchors (IAC) with blueprint
* Work with a variety of hand tools, twenty foot fiberglass Ladders, and specific communication construction equipment.
