Job Description



Security is essential to what we do at Bremer, from protecting our customers to our employees. The Sr. Information Security Risk Analyst is responsible for working with cross-functional teams on the day-to-day operational activities needed to support the Security Governance, Risk and Compliance program. Coordinate and execute proactive Information Security consulting to the business and technology teams covering Infrastructure Security, Disaster Recovery, Management of Data, Network Architecture and Design, User Access Management, and Management of Third Parties, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as an expert in Bremer's Information Security offerings, IS polices and guidelines.
Ensures that user community understands applicable security policies and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security.
Utilizing Bremer's security framework perform annual security reviews for in-scope applications and entity level controls and report on the maturity of the controls and residual risk.
Plan, lead and manage complex assessments for IT general and application controls in the areas of system development, Identity and Access Management (IAM), logging and monitoring, vulnerability management, change management, logical access, data networks, computer operations, business continuity and disaster recovery.
Manage/ coordinate remediation efforts after security assessment findings outline weakness requiring attention. Mentor, coach and provide guidance to lower-level security professionals and business partners as needed.
Leverage broad security knowledge to manage risk while securely enabling achieving of business strategies and initiatives.
Focus on developing, executing, and reporting on the effectiveness of internal IT security controls and control tests.
Maintain the annual risk assessment and support the security framework
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or relevant field and minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience or a master's degree in computer science, management information systems or relevant field and minimum of 3 years relevant professional experience.
A self-starter and a team player who can conduct security design and implementation-level reviews and risk assessments and controls selection activities by collaborating with information owners (Business and IT) to conduct such assessments.
Directly responsible for procedures to assure compliance with Corporate Policies and Standards, applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as good business security practices.
Knowledgeable of security and controls testing, technical and process solutions to be successful. Able to provide subject matter expertise as required to projects in all business and IT areas.
An analytical problem solver.
Able to build understanding and awareness of security issues throughout the company. An excellent communicator and have strong presentation skills.
A security certification such as CISSP, A+, CISA and/or AWS is a plus.
